East Midlands Food Festival, also known as Melton Mowbray Food Festival, is held in Melton Mowbray — the self-styled rural capital of food. The all-undercover show features artisan cheese, pies, charcuterie and chocolate producers, alongside a street-food zone and a Food Theatre of chef demonstrations. A dedicated Kids Zone keeps the event family-friendly, with tickets priced at £7 per day and under-16s admitted free.
