The Devon County Show is organised by the Devon County Agricultural Association, which was formed in 1872 to promote it. The show was first held in May 1872 at Victoria Park, Mount Radford, and has been at the Westpoint Arena near Exeter since 1990.
The show celebrates the very best of Devon's countryside, farming, food, entertainment and rural life. Visitors can expect prize-winning livestock, equestrian competitions, heavy horse displays, local food and drink, Westcountry crafts and family entertainment across several show rings.
The show runs from 9am to 6pm on each of its three days. The 2026 show set a record of 106,000 visitors, 5,000 more than the previous best. Ticket details for 2027 are due to be announced.
