Knockengorroch World Ceilidh music festival 2019 will take place from May 23 to 26th in the hills of Galloway, South West Scotland. This year Benjamin Zephaniah and the Revolutionary Minds, Elephant Sessions, Moonlight Benjamin and Dizraeli are amongst the international traditional and dance music acts participating in the inimitable event. The diverse line-up incorporates music to dance to from across the world with more than a healthy splash of traditional Scottish sounds. Established in 1998 the festival remains a meeting point and party for those who wish to celebrate great music in a fantastic place. A festival run by a family, for families, in the very broadest sense of the word, it attracts young and old to the banks of a glittering river in the hills, overlooked by the family’s cows. The experience offers a home away from home and a chance to really get away from it all.
